CORUNNA — Water aerobics will begin from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Corunna Middle School pool.

Water aerobics conforms to individual needs, restrictions and abilities. By adjusting the size and speed of the movements, you can change the level of exertion to suit your needs. It allows a person to exercise every muscle and every joint in the body all at the same time. Because it is done in water, you may perspire, but you will remain cooler because the water cools you off as you exert.

    MEETING PEN PALS

The second-graders in Kim Kiesling’s class at Elsa Meyer Elementary in Corunna took technology one step further this week when they met their pen pals using Skype. All year, students have been writing letters and essays back and forth to Amanda Steiger’s class at Perry Elementary School. This great opportunity allowed students the ability to see their pen pal, tell them what they enjoyed about the year and even perform a “Reader’s Theater.”
