Neva May Ehrke
Age 99, of Owosso, passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, at Durand Senior Care Rehab Center, Durand.
Mrs. Ehrke was a homemaker.
A family memorial service will be scheduled in the future.
Neva was born July 2, 1909, in Sterling Township, the daughter of Robert and Augusta (Burr) Fries. She was a graduate of Utica High School and had lived in Centerline, Fla., Corunna and Owosso. In March of 1929, she married Alfred Ehrke in Ohio.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking and gardening. She also loved making dresses for her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include sons Donald Ehrke, Thomas Ehrke and Robert Ehrke; daughter Mary Stamper; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband; sons John Ehrke in 2000 and Charles Ehrke in 1998; and three sisters.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
